You know how I said last week that Chris Tomlin’s Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies) was on a steady path to number one after moving up 6-4 last week? Yeah, well, the song is on holy steroids. It blasts past Third Day, Passion & Kristian Stanfill, and Big Daddy Weave to move up to number one in only its 19th week on the chart. Among songs currently in the Top 10, only Audio Adrenaline’s Kings and Queens has had a faster run to the Top 10, holding strong at number 10 for a second week after only 14 weeks.
The rest of the Top 10 stays stationary, with no big surprises. I’m still hoping to see a dcTalk reunion in the Top 10, although tobyMac seems to have suffered a setback, as Steal My Show slips 15 to 18 this week. Another hopeful I like seeing in the Top 50 include Britt Nicole’s Gold, now up to number 24 this week (with a crossover appearance on Pop songs!).
