FFH, “As For Me”

Contemporary Christian duo Far From Home, or FFH, for short, has released As For Me, the carrier single of its new album, The Way We Worship, due October 16th across the USA in digital and CD formats.

FFH has sold more than two million albums, garnered seven number one radio hits, and has an additional fifteen top ten singles. I personally have enjoyed several of their singles, including You Found Me, which, to date, is still one of my favorite Christian pop-rock songs of all time.

As For Me was co-written by award-winning songwriter/producer Jason Ingram. Mr. Ingram’s fingerprints are all over almost every Top 10 hit coming out of Nashville these days, which bodes well for Jeromy and Jennifer Deibler, the couple that makes up FFH. Christian AC is starting to pick up already on As For Me; it is one of several songs that have received significant radio adds this week, and something tells me FFH’s As For Me shouldn’t have a hard time finding a home at both Christian AC and Christian Soft AC/Inspo formats.

The Way We Worship, birthed from Jennifer’s nighttime routine with the kids, features acoustic, harmony-driven versions of gospel classics like Come Thou Fount, Jesus Name Above All Names, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, and Jesus Paid It All. The combination of the Christian classics and several new songs written by Jeromy should make The Way We Worship a fine addition to FFH’s enviable discography.

AS FOR ME Lyrics
FFH

I hav heard the call and I will not be moved
I have set my heart on one thing
I will wear Your name for all the world to see
You lifted up

As for me, I will raise your banner high
I will shout aloud Your Name
I won’t deny Jesus
You have given all so I will give you my life
I will raise Your banner high

When the cost is great You are greater still
I am standing on this one thing
You will come again and all the world will see
You lifted up

As for me, I will raise your banner high
I will shout aloud Your Name
I won’t deny Jesus
You have given all so I will give you my life
I will raise Your banner high
I will raise Your banner high

I will sing
I will sing
God be praised, God be praised
All will sing
All will sing
God be praised, God be praised

I will sing
I will sing
God be praised, God be praised
All will sing
All will sing
God be praised, God be praised

As for me, I will raise your banner high
I will shout aloud Your Name
I won’t deny Jesus
You have given all so I will give you my life
I will raise Your banner high
I will raise Your banner high
