Ganns’ Top 10 – August 18, 2012

It’s a full month for Contemporary Christian singer Mark Schultz atop my personal Contemporary Christian music singles chart with All Things Possible. (The song is now officially number one for the year, overtaking Brad & Rebekah’s We Are Free. But there are still four months left in the year; who knows what may show up?) Could it be Forever JONES’ Hold Me Still, new at number six?

After a full month at number one, Korean girl group Secret loses its hold at number as Filipino singer Quest becomes the first Filipino artist to top the chart this year with Sige Lang. The move is fueled in great part by the song’s becoming the (un)official theme song for Victory’s flood relief efforts. Greatest gainer is Super Junior’s Spy, a very strong contender now for number one. Two new K-Pop entries as well, for Boa’s Only One, new at number nine, and PSY’s smash Gangnam Style, new at number ten.
