Gospel family act Forever JONES has released Hold Me Still off their new album, Musical Revival, earning chart ink as the song enters the Billboard Christian Songs chart at number 41, the Hotshot Debut for the week.
This is the first time I’d heard forever JONES, although I’d heard of them, and you can color me impressed. This song is really good. First off, I love the passionate vocals. These are two very strong vocalists – not quite sure which of the band they are, that’s the bit of the rub with groups with large numbers – but they sound amazing. Such rich, pure vocals!
Hold Me Still is lovely. I am enjoying the instrumentation of the song, as well as the solid faithful lyrics. I would’ve wanted to hear more harmonies – the song is practically begging for it – but it’s gorgeous on its own. Altogether a solid effort that will definitely bring forever JONES a wider audience with its pop/R&B sensibilities. Terrific.
