Building 429’s Where I Belong scores a ninth week on Billboard’s Christian Songs chart, even as last week’s Greatest Gainer, Good Morning by Mandisa, tumbles from #27 to #34. Jamie Grace’s You Lead, after one solitary week in the Top 10, falls 9 to 11. I’m so distressed.
Meanwhile, there are two new songs in the Top 10: Live Like That by Sidewalk Prophets, up #11 to #10, and Greatest Gainer awardee White Flag by Passion featuring Chris Tomlin. To my knowledge, this is the first Top 10 hit awarded to Passion, the worship team of which Chris Tomlin is a contributing part. Alongside artists like Kristian Stanfill and preachers like Louie Giglio, Passion has made quite an impact in the Contemporary Christian community, so this Top 10 hit was a long time coming.
