2AM, “I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me”

Korean ballad kings 2AM recently staged their comeback after a hiatus of almost a year, an eternity in K-Pop. Jokwon, Changmin, Seulong, and Jinwoon sound as great as ever on their new mini-album, the jauntily titled F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Way of Love, from which the carrier single, I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me, is lifted. The carrier single of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Way of Love actually did quite well, scoring #1 finishes on both digital music charts and music shows, an indication that, no matter how uptempo K-Pop may be, there will always be a special place for a good K-Pop ballad.
