SHINee, “Sherlock”
Korean Hallyu group SHINee released its comeback a few weeks ago with Sherlock, a mini-album that claims to contain a number of tracks different from anything that Onew, Minho, Key, Jonghyun, and Taemin have ever done before. Having listened to the album in its entirety, I’m not thoroughly inclined to agree, although there are a couple of winners here, including Honesty and the title track. Sherlock – the song, not the album – took a while to get used to, but that powerful chorus – I’m so curious, yeah! – is irresistible. Shawols the world over can breathe easy; the song did well, topping several charts and earning another round of achievements for the talented SM Entertainment quintet.
