Billboard Top Christian Songs – April 7 2012

Billboard Top Christian Songs – April 7 2012

Building 429 scores a fifth week atop Billboard’s Top Christian Songs with Where I Belong, just as MercyMe scores yet another Top 10 hit, this time with the carrier single to and the title track of its latest album, The Hurt and the Healer, which skip 12 to 10 this week. A side comment that I found very interesting: last week’s #9 song, Big Daddy Weave’s Love Come to Life, suddenly disappeared from the Top 50 (at least according to Billboard’s online Christian Songs chart. Odd.

Top debut honors go to Matt Redman’s 10,000 Reasons, new at #25, while Moriah Peters’ I Choose Jesus scores the biggest jump of the week 39-23.
