OMG! The OC Supertones are back! On the Downbeat is the first recorded single from the uber-popular Christian ska band in over eight years, and it’s available for free download! More information here on Kickstarter, as the band tries to raise US$30,000 to record its first album in a loooooong time. You see, the members of the OC Supertones went their own ways a few years back – four of them are full-time pastors now – but we all know you can take the musician out of ska but you can’t take the ska out of the musician, and it was only a matter of time before we’d be getting some brand-new OC Supertones material, and here we are!
If you’re going to download, please leave the boys a tip (US$1.49 is the iTunes rate; can you be a little more generous?), and do join them in prayer as they seek to raise the cash they need to raise.
