Australian praise and worship band Planetshakers has outdone itself with its new album, Nothing is Impossible. One of the tracks from Nothing Is Impossible, a stirring ballad titled You Are God, penned by Planetshakers stalwart Jonathan Hunt, is rapidly picking up airplay at Christian AC. The creative use of auto-tune in the verses notwithstanding, You Are God is readily accessible for community worship at any church that likes this kind of youthful sound. Me, I’ve always liked the Planetshakers, so this is just a cherry on the cake. (The main bulk of the cake is the Planetshakers/Israel Houghton revival of the Planetshakers’ Nothing is Impossible; that alone is worth the price of the CD.
