Worth Dying For, “Through Your Eyes”

Worth Dying For, “Through Your Eyes”

Independent Contemporary Christian rock band Worth Dying For, which released its sophomore album Love Riot online in February 2011, is responsible for Through Your Eyes, a hard-driving call to God to inspire and move them to action. One of the most added songs at Christian rock radio this week, Through Your Eyes moves up 28-23, earning the track Greatest Gainer honors for the week. Love Riot debuted at #3 on the iTunes Christian charts the week of its release, and with this track now picking up at CHR radio, I think it’s only a matter of time until we see Worth Dying For packing arenas and stadiums throughout the United States with young adults 13-25 rocking their hearts out for Jesus. I love the vocal dynamic on Through Your Eyes; while I’m not a fan of hard-rocking Christian rock, something about Through Your Eyes spoke to me, which is why I’d like to let y’all know about it and tell me what you think.

I think it’s also good for all y’all to know that in addition to coming up with some pretty awesome Christian music, Worth Dying For has partnered with Without Permission, a non-profit organization that educates young women about the dangers of human trafficking, ministers to the men involved in this atrocity who have rightfully been brought to justice, recruits foster families to care for trafficking victims, and collaborates with law enforcement to rescue trafficking victims in the United States (specifically Modesto, California). I love a Christian band that puts its money where its mouth is. Support Worth Dying For! Visit for more information.

THROUGH YOUR EYES Lyrics
Worth Dying For

I’m never going back
I’m never going back

Take the broken parts of me
Repair my willing heart
I put my faith in the unseen
I feel You right beside me

Break me down and take me over

I hear You ?calling my name
I’m broken in chains
So I’ll let out what’s on the inside
I’ll stand up and be Your light
Just let me see the world through Your eyes

A million times I’ve made mistakes
And a million more You’ve covered me
Push my walls until they break
I feel? You right beside me

Break me down and take me over

I hear You ?calling my name
I’m broken in chains
So I’ll let out what’s on the inside
I’ll stand up and be Your light
Just let me see the world through Your eyes

I’m never ?going back to the way I was
I’m never ?going back to the way I was
I’m never ?going back to the way I was
I’m never ?going back to the way I was

I hear You ?calling my name
I’m broken in chains
So I’ll let out what’s on the inside
I’ll stand up and be Your light
Just let me see the world through Your eyes
Just let me see the world through Your eyes
Just let me see the world through Your eyes
