After the first single, Lift Up Your Face, stalled at #12, Children of God seems primed to make a much more powerful impact than its predecessor. For one thing, Children of God is more faithful to Third Day’s Christian rock roots, yet is soaring with its anthemic chorus and singalong bridge. For another thing, a children’s choir singing along at the bridge until the end of the song, tugs at the heartstrings. Children of God is now impacting across the board, registered the most increased spins at Christian AC and Soft AC/Inspo. All in all, a wise choice for a follow-up single, and a smart one to bring the under-appreciated Move back into the public eye.
