Okay, I couldn’t resist. Nicole Hyala’s Mahal Kita Kasi is the cutest novelty song I’ve heard in a while. It’s #1 on my personal chart – a debut! – and I don’t see this going away real soon. As a tribute to Nicole and the geniuses behind Mahal Kita Kasi, I’ve recorded a Mahal Kita Kasi a capella version. (Imitation is, after all, the sincerest form of flattery.) I hope you like it, and please pass it on if you think it’s cute and worth telling other people about. I wanna make a video for my version of Mahal Kita Kasi too, but that’s going to have to wait because I just don’t have the time. (And please excuse the background noise; I recorded it in our living room using Garage Band, making the harmonies up as I went along.)
Obviously, I can’t use Papa P and Dingdong Dantes, so check out who I compared my wife to. lol
