New Original: We Exalt You

I’ve completed another original praise song titled We Exalt You. The demo for We Exalt You, which you can hear streamed below, was recorded by Victory Fort’s worship team, with worship leader (and Jam 88.3 DJ) Gabe Gabriel on lead vocal.

I wrote We Exalt You using Psalm 108 as a Biblical basis. Psalm 108 is particularly nice because it takes words that typically work within a worship setting, set to praise. I wrote it with an anthemic feel, using major chords and a driving guitar line. I don’t know if it’ll ever be used in church, but I’m happy enough with the result.

   Thanks, Stephen! I’m flattered! Unfortunately, “release” is a relatively loose word. It’ll be used in church if it passes the pastors’ standards. As songwriter, I have no other control over the song. We can stream it here, pero hanggang diyan lang.
