Your Majesty Shines is an original song that I co-wrote with Archie Castillo, Musical Director of Victory Fort, the church in the Philippines that I work for. Archie gave me a set of chords; I then came up with the lyrics and melody that fit his chords. It’s my first collaboration, and I’m quite happy with the result. Lead vocals are Teri Sambajon’s, worship leader and worship director of our church of Taguig. The lyrics of Your Majesty Shines follow after the jump. Give it a listen and tell me what you think.

Hi Ganns! I’ve been attending Victory for over a year now and I must say this with all honesty – ever since the Praise & Worship team starting singing this song, it’s become one of the main reasons I’ve looked foward to attending service (Bad I know, but you know what I mean). I just can’t tell you how much I love this song. Tears swell in my eyes everytime I sing it. Everytime. Praise God for this.

This was the song I was looking for! I’ve heard this in church but haven’t got the chance to see the title because I was visually impaired so I google the lyrics, and I got the title and had the chance to listen to the song over and over again. Thank you, Ganns, for a very wonderful song.

I recently made a habit of typing up prayers in my private blog while listening to a worship song. This song suddenly popped into my head as I got ready to type a prayer. It’s the first song I heard when i first attended Victory last June of this year. Was looking for it in youtube eh. Glad I found it now. Great song! Ang sarap kantahin along with the Church. It’s like I’ve always wanted to tell Him every line in this song. Wonder if we can get a copy? :)
