Mandisa’s Not Guilty is an excellent soundtrack to our Easter message at Victory Fort, which is titled Accused, offering a relevant and meaningful discussion on why Jesus was accused of being a friend of sinners, savior, and deceiver. It is ironic, really, that the people of Jesus’ day accused and did not forgive Him of being a deceiver when all He brought was truth, and today, we stand accused of much more heinous things, and yet He is willing to forgive us.
This Easter, as we dwell on the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, I pray we truly reflect on the implications of God’s mercy on us, and how we have been judged and found innocent of all our crimes against Him and each other, only because one man bore it all on His shoulders.
