The indignity of stripping
Yesterday, I asked Ada to strip me.
But before you let your wild imagination run away with you, let me clarify what I mean by stripping. Read more
4 commentsSlim4Him: My journey towards total freedom from obesity!
I’ve started a blog exclusively for my Slim4Him diet (using Arthur Agatston’s South Beach diet), and I am 100% determined to make this one work. I don’t even know what my starting weight is, but I’ll know I would’ve lost weight if my clothes fit better and people start to notice.
I wouldn’t mind getting a bathroom scale for my birthday. LOL That, and a healthy baby girl. Cathy and I will find out our baby’s gender on February 25, the day before my birthday. Well, regardless of the gender, we will love this baby as much as we love Nathan. It would be nice to have a girl, though.
See you 70 lbs. from now!

Cathy and I recently learned Nathan did not make the cut of Grace Christian’s pre-school. Needless to say, we were very upset, and to say I was furious would be the understatement of the year. Read more

3 commentsPhilippine Blog Awards open for nomination
The country’s most prestigious blog awards is now accepting nominations.
The Philippine Blog Awards has recognized Filipino blog sites for the past four (five?) years. I first heard of them in 2003, when my good Christian buddy Rick Manzano secured a nomination for Filipino Blogger of the Year. In 2005, this blogger’s old website, Superblessed, was a finalist in the Most Informative Blog category, eventually finishing a happy runner-up to Doc Emer’s Parallel Universes.
Today, in its fourth (fifth?) installment, the most prestigious national blog recognition body in the nation has increased from an original four categories - Filipino Blogger of the Year, Most Informative Blog Site of the Year, Photoblog of the Year, and Best Blog Site of the Year - to an impressive ten:
- Best Technology Blog
- Best Travel Blog
- Best Entertainment Blog
- Best Personal Blog
- Best Home & Living Blog
- Best Socio-Political Blog
- Best News & Media Blog
- Best Business/Entrepreneur Blog
- Best Sports & Recreation Blog
- Best Fashion & Lifestyle Blog
- Best Photo Blog
- Podcast of the Year Award
If you know of a worthy blog, then scoot on over to the official website of the Philippine Blog Awards and nominate that blog on or before February 28, 2007.
By the way, if anyone from the Philippine Blog Awards happens to swing by this entry, may I humbly suggest a ‘History’ or ‘About Us’ page? Having seen the growth of your blog awards through the years, recognizing the growing impact of your endeavor through a retrospective would be giving credit to whom it’s due - you guys.
No commentsI wish you love
Not just on Hallmark holidays, but all the days of your life.
Not just in the arms of a lover, but in the arms of someone who loves you for you.
Not just in your home, but everywhere you go.
Not just because today is Valentine’s Day, but because every day is a God-given opportunity to love.
Live, love, and, well, eat. Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody!
No commentsPassword-protected entries
I have only recently discovered the option of protecting certain entries with passwords. This interests me because - as my blog tends to become a relatively personal open diary - I will sometimes want to write something so personal that I don’t want it to be Googled or anything, but may want certain friends to commisserate with me. Ergo, the password.
If you would like a password so you can read my private entries, email me using the email address provided in My Best Decision Ever. I’ll then send it to you (please protect it).

4 commentsKitchie Nadal’s new single is “Buwan”
Kitchie Nadal’s new album should be out sometime in March 2007, according to her manager, Roca Cruz.
Her new single, Buwan, is another groundbreaking track. I love how Kitchie never gets comfortable with her style, always challenging herself to sound different and bold and above the rest.
